Off the Grid is just steps away from beach access and minutes from local Corolla shopping and restaurants. The Ocean Sands neighborhood in Section F offers tennis/pickleball courts which are a block away from the property as well as miles of highway-adjacent trails for walking, running, and biking. The most unique feature about our home is that it sits just south of open land and dunes that provides both breathtaking views and more privacy near our back decks and backyard than almost all rental homes nearby (pictured below).

The Outer Banks
The Outer Banks, (aka OBX) is a strand of barrier islands off the coast of North Carolina that features miles of wide open beaches making it a premier vacation destination. Along with the beaches, the Outer Banks is rich with American history. In 1587, the OBX was the site of the first British settlement in the new world, otherwise known as The Lost Colony. The Outer Banks is also known for the Wright Brothers’ historic first flight near Kitty Hawk that occurred in 1903.

Corolla, is a small-town beach community that feels like a five star resort vacation but with the laid-back Outer Banks beach-life style. Located about 30 minutes north of Kitty Hawk, Corolla is a bit more quiet and secluded, but with upscale shops, dining and rental options. Corolla is perfect for those who want to escape from the busy crowds down south and is closest to wildlife preserves, tourist attractions and the secluded 4x4 beaches of Carova.
